Sherpa buffalo calf is a mineral tanned, full-grain, semi-aniline, drummed leather. Its natural grain is enhanced by hand polishing giving it a two-tone aspect that accentuates the buffalo’s characteristics. Buffalo skin is known for its strength and originality which make it suitable for all types of use. A wide range of colors is available from our permanent stock.
Embossed Sherpa buffalo calf leather is made on the same base as regular Sherpa buffalo by adding the “Mambo” or “Samba” grain. These grains, which make the leather uniform and easy to cut, are highlighted by hand polishing. The two-tone aspect gives it a very natural look. Grained Sherpa buffalo has the same characteristics as Sherpa buffalo - exceptional resistance - which makes it suitable for all types of use.
Sherpa Outdoor buffalo calf is also a semi-aniline leather that has been mineral tanned during the full dip-dye process. Its natural grain is enhanced by hand polishing. This leather is covered with a thin layer of pigment that makes it impeccably colorfast to light while maintaining its softness. It has water and oil repellent protection which make it weather-resistant.
